Juventus’ Stefano Sturaro linked with Everton

According to Tuttosport, Everton are targeting Juventus’ midfielder Stefano Sturaro.

Everton have already signed a midfielder this summer with Davy Klaassen joining The Toffee’s and Wayne Rooney could also do a job in the central midfield position.

Ross Barkley, James McCarthy and Gareth Barry have all been linked with moves away from Goodison Park this summer so if any of these happen, Ronald Koeman could go for the Italian to bolster their midfield options for the 2017/18 season.

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has expressed his feeling in wanting to keep Sturaro as a “wildcard” and it would be a sacrifice if they sell him just in case any of their first choices such as Claudio Marchisio, Sami Khedira and Miralem Pjanic pick up injuries, which has happened before, especially with Khedira.

Everton have also been linked with another Juventus midfielder, Mario Lemina, who has also been linked with a move to West Ham but he may stay at Juventus as he is a very promising player.
