Silva confirms Mina and Gomes could feature against Palace

Marco Silva has confirmed that both Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes could make their Everton debuts against Crystal Palace.

Speaking at his weekly press conference, Silva explained that the duo are recovering well from their respective injuries, while Seamus Coleman is also closing in on his return.

Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes are doing well. Andre Gomes trained well this week and is progressing as we expected. They will be available for Crystal Palace after the break. Seamus Coleman too.

Both arrived at the club injured from Barcelona over the summer, but Mina has suffered setbacks, meaning his debut has been delayed.

Gomes has also struggled to get back to full fitness, but the upcoming international break looks likely to play into Everton’s hands.

Both players were high-profile signings for the club over the summer and Silva will be delighted when he can finally call upon a fully fit squad.

The Toffees have struggled with injuries throughout the opening months of the campaign.

Coleman has been sidelined for several weeks after picking up a foot injury in the previous international break.
