Everton have been boosted in their pursuit of Gabriel Barbosa after it was revealed that he is ‘likely’ to make a Premier League move in the new year.
Fox Sports explain that a move to England is now considered a likely option for the forward, with both Everton and Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham linked with the player.
After impressing for Santos, Gabriel Barbosa has been tipped to make a return to Europe.
It remains to be seen whether either Premier League side can land the player on a permanent basis or on a loan until the end of the season.
Barbosa was unable to impress during his short stint with Inter and they now want to raise the player’s asking price as much as possible.
With Marco Silva keen to add another option to his front line, Everton will provide the toughest competition for West Ham in January.
Both sides have been lacking in front of goal this season and could look to change that in January.
