City could welcome back Aguero and De Bruyne for Everton clash

Manchester City could be handed a major fitness boost after Pep Guardiola confirmed that both Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero could come back into the side on Saturday.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Guardiola revealed that both players could feature at the Etihad on Saturday after missing the defeat to Chelsea last weekend.

De Bruyne had been hoping to make his long-awaited return against his former side but was unable to recover in time.

Knee injuries have derailed the Belgian’s season, but he is now closing in on his return to action.

Aguero had been struggling with niggling muscle injuries and was advised not to feature against Maurizio Sarri’s side last weekend.

Both player’s returns will be a welcomed boost for City, with the Premier League champions keen to get back on track.

Everton will be hoping to provide a difficult test in a bid to upset the odds against City.
