Everton told to pay £20m to land Divock Origi

Everton and Newcastle have been told that they will need to pay upwards of £20 million to sign Divock Origi from Liverpool.

The Liverpool Echo reports that the Reds have named their price, amid suggestions he could be moved on in the new year.

Everton are among the teams interested in signing Origi, with Marco Silva looking to add to his squad in January.

Wolves and teams in Turkey are also expected to make a move for the player.

This is not the first time Silva has looked to sign Origi. He was linked with a move to Watford during the Portuguese’s time in charge there, so he clearly sees something in the Belgian international.

Origi has failed to break through at Anfield this season after missing out on a summer move.

The player is now expected to move on in January in search of regular game time for the sake of his career after failing to impress on Merseyside.
