West Ham United 0-2 Everton: Four findings

With the seemingly, never-ending international break finally behind us, we got to watch Everton back in action. They travelled to London to take on West Ham United in a mid-table match-up.

Everton put out a strong squad that has gotten them good results as of late. They took 7 out of a possible 12 points against Cardiff City, Liverpool, Newcastle, and Chelsea. Not bad. They looked to stay hot coming out of the international break and they did not disappoint.

After taking the early lead off a Zouma header, Everton put the pedal to the metal. It was a continuous wave of counter-attacks directed to Łukasz Fabianski. While Fabianski held his own for most of the match, it just wasn’t enough.

This is the Everton we all wanted to see this season. Hopefully, things will start clicking and Everton can finish the season strong. These are positives for Everton and Marco Silva as well. It seems his hot seat as officially cooled off for now.

Let’s take a look at four findings from the West Ham vs Everton match-up.

matchday.
