Everton have joined the race to sign Watford forward Odion Ighalo, according to All Nigeria Soccer.
Ighalo has impressed during his first season in the Premier League and scored against Everton on the first day of the season when the Hornets and the Blues drew 2-2 at Goodison Park.
The Nigerian star reportedly turned down a lucrative move to China that would’ve seen him earning £300,000-a-week in order to experience the Premier League with Watford.

With 14 goals and three assists in his debut season in the top-flight of English football, the 26-year-old has made a big impression on a lot of clubs even if his goals have dried up recently.
With the future of Romelu Lukaku up for discussion Ighalo could be the man to help fill the powerful Belgian’s considerable shoes, but a lot of Evertonians would be concerned if he was the only replacement for the Everton hitman.
Ighalo has been linked with moves to Arsenal and Atletico Madrid and according to the report ‘power-brokers’ at Everton have lined up a summer move for the versatile attacker.
