Predicting Everton’s 2017/18 starting line-up

In what was a somewhat underwhelming season for Everton, the Toffees finished 7th in the Premier League and failed to get past the third round of either cup competition.

Despite the disappointments of the season, Romelu Lukaku fired in 25 goals to finish second in the race for the golden boot, however, that earned him a huge £75 million move away from Goodison to Old Trafford.

Ronald Koeman has some rebuilding to with his team and he has started the transfer window showing his intent, signing Ajax captain Davy Klaassen and bringing Wayne Rooney back to Merseyside. Big money moves were also made for goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and defender Michael Keane. Sandro Ramirez has also been bought in as Lukaku’s replacement.

Everton have a squad full of depth which will help should they get through Europa League qualification and they should make a push for an automatic qualification spot into Europe.

With young talents like Ademola Lookman and Tom Davies on the fringe of the first team there is plenty to look forward to for Everton fans.

With all players considered, let’s look at how the Blues might line up next season:
