Everton return to Premier League action this weekend after an international break that went seemingly went on for all eternity.
Before jetting off for the break, Everton were beaten 2-0 by Arsenal as they well and truly rolled over for their opposition. With a lacklustre performance, Evertonians voiced their opinion at the full-time whistle as boos came crashing down from all four sides of Goodison Park.
The Blues less than impressive league campaign looks to end with a whimper and they could find themselves 15th if they were to lose this weekend and Bournemouth, Watford and Swansea all pick up wins.
On the other hand, Manchester United will be looking for a win to propel them back above West Ham and Manchester City into the top-four as Van Gaal’s men look to finish the season strongly.
Sunday’s clash will be a big test for Everton, but they need to conjure a response after that dismal display against the Gunners two weeks ago.
This is how we expect the Blues to line up this weekend, with 4-2-3-1 the likely formation.
