Everton and West Ham to fight for Juventus midfielders

According to Sport Witness, Everton and West Ham are interested in snapping up Stefano Sturaro and Mario Lemina from Italian giants Juventus.

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is against selling Sturaro as he sees him as a good backup option for his current central midfielders but if an offer is high enough then he could consider it.

Everton have got a lot of midfield options already with the new additions of Wayne Rooney and Davy Klaassen from Manchester United and Ajax respectively, as well as Morgan Schneiderlin, Ross Barkley, James McCarthy, Idrissa Gueye, Gareth Barry, Muhamed Besic and Tom Davies.

However, Barkley, McCarthy and Barry have been linked with a move away from Everton and Rooney may play in a more advanced role so a new midfielder may be needed.

It has also been reported that both Everton and West Ham are also interested in Mario Lemina from Juventus as well as Watford and Arsenal who have also shown interest.

Bayer Leverkusen, Sevilla and Galatasaray are also interested in Lemina but a move to the Premier League maybe tempting for the Gabon midfielder.

matchday.
