Everton Player Ratings: Manchester United (H)

Marco Silva is the man.

This was the best Everton performance I’ve seen in my life, bar none. The only one that comes close is the 4-0 victory over Guardiola’s Manchester City.

But from the off today, we absolutely dominated one of the hottest Premier League teams of 2019. Manchester United took 86 minutes to register a shot on target, and even then it was an easy gather for Jordan Pickford.

They didn’t have a single chance beyond that, and even once they decided to grow into the game, four goals had gone past David de Gea.

Every single Everton player played excellently, and it was a whole team effort. The defence was as solid as it’s ever been, and we looked like we’d score every time we attacked.

The season has been a shaky one, but the obvious signs that it’s all up from here are present. We’re going to be seriously good, very quickly.

Marco’s at the wheel. Here are our Everton player ratings.

matchday.
