Everton make offer for Grosicki

Everton have reportedly made a £6.6million bid for Polish winger Kamil Grosicki, according to French reports.

Grosicki plays for Stade Rennais in Ligue 1 and has made 65 appearances since joining in 2014, scoring nine goals. He has also played for Poland in Euro 2012 and Euro 2016 and is in contention for a starting place in their quarter-final game against Portugal later today.

He has made 43 appearances in the Poland national team, scoring eight goals.

The Toffee’s bid is reportedly £6.6m for Grosicki, however, that may rise depending on how far he gets, and how well he performs in Euro 2016. Grosicki started for Poland in their penalty shoot-out win against Switzerland.

However, reports say that Stade Rennais are holding out for a bid closer to £8.25 million, the amount that they value him at.

Before playing at Rennais, Grosicki played for Turkish outfit Sivasspor for three years and appeared 90 times for the club.

Ronald Koeman is expected to have plenty of money to spend, after former Arsenal shareholder Farhad Moshiri took a place on the Everton board of directors earlier on in the year.
