Everton fans share fond memories of Coleman’s skilful Arsenal showing

Plenty of Everton fans have shared their memories of Seamus Coleman’s superb performance against Arsenal back in 2014.

Coleham arrived at Goodison Park back in 2009 from Sligo Rovers in a lowly priced deal worth £60,000.

Since joining the Merseyside club, the Republic of Ireland international has become a mainstay in the side, eventually becoming captain last summer, replacing Phil Jagielka.

Named in the PFA Team of the Year for the 2013/2014 season, Coleman produced a superb performance against Arsenal during the second half of that campaign.

And Everton’s official Twitter account have remembered his performance, sharing some footage of his skills against the Gunners.

Coleman, who originally started his sporting career playing as a Gaelic footballer during his childhood in Donegal, has made 292 appearances for the Toffees, netting 26 goals.

Reacting to the footage of Coleman, these fans shared their thoughts on what was a memorable performance from the defender.
