Everton fans react to reports of Italian midfielder interest

Everton fans have reacted to a report which claims that their club are interested in AC Milan youngster Daniel Maldini.

Since Italian boss Carlo Ancelotti moved to Goodison Park, the Merseyside club have been linked to quite a few players, with the former Chelsea coach keen to develop a side capable of pushing the top sides in the Premier League.

With football at a current standstill due to recent events, another name has been added to those links with Milan youngster Maldini linked.

Sportmediaset report that Everton officials have been in touch with the Serie A club over recent weeks about a potential summer move.

Whilst the report claims Everton have been in touch, it also says that the English side have been knocked back with their interest.

Maldini is the son of former AC Milan legend Paolo, and he has represented the Italian national side at U18 and U19 level.

Such is Maldini’s talent, the young attacking midfielder made his debut for Milan’s first team earlier this year, replacing Samu Castillejo against Hellas Verona in February.

Responded to a tweet from account The Gwladys Street, Toffees fans reacted in a mixed manner at the potential of the Italian arriving this summer.
