Everton have confirmed the signing of centre-back Micheal Keane from fellow Premier League club Burnley for a fee that could rise to club record £30m.
Keane’s former club Manchester United will profit from the deal after inserting a 25% sell-on clause in his initial transfer to Burnley in 2015.
The 24-year-old defender was a target for Everton boss Ronald Koeman for some time and the Toffees boss will be delighted that he has secured his signature.

Keane was crucial for Burnley last season as he organised their defence which was so successful last season as they avoided relegation after many pundits had wrote them off before the start of the campaign.
Keane completes a trio of acquisitions for the Merseyside club after securing goalkeeper Jordan Pickford for £30m and midfielder Davy Klaassen for £24m earlier in the month as well as Sandro Ramirez earlier today.
The Blues have also confirmed the signing of Henry Onyekuru but the youngster will be loaned out next season to Belgian side Anderlecht.
Keane and Pickford were both nominated for the Professional Footballers’ Association Young Player Of The Year award in 2017, which was won by Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli.
The English defender made his International debut against Germany in Dortmund in March and will be looking to fight for a place in the squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Everton fans are hoping that they can challenge for a top four position next season and with these signings that Koeman has made, it is expected that the Toffees will at least finish in a European spot.
