Everton 1-3 Bournemouth – Everton Player Ratings

Away trips aren’t easy and this is seemingly especially the case for Everton. We just can’t seem to take any sort of quality away from Goodison Park, and this needs to be addressed very quickly lest we exit the European race altogether, never mind any hopes of a top-four finish.

Mr Silva also still enjoys the extremely unwanted record of never coming from behind to win a game, and we are behind in games an awful lot. This is another point which needs to be looked at, as if we go behind, we don’t seem to change the gameplan to be more aggressive. Actually, we never seem to be aggressive at all. We showed signs of it against Wolves last week as we pursued the third goal, and that period of the game is probably the best we’ve looked all season.

But today was poor across the board, and it hasn’t showed signs of getting any better for the entirety of Mr Silva’s tenure.

Here’s how we rated Everton’s players.

matchday.
