My Eleven: Everton vs Arsenal

Alex is a little busy winning the Ryder Cup or something, so I’m taking the reigns for this one…

So, yet another Premier League season is coming to a close. It’s been a much improved season from the awful football we sat through last year, with big Ronald Koeman turning us into European contenders once again. We’ve had major ups, such as our demolition of Manchester City, a big win against Arsenal under the Goodison lights, and we’ve also had lows, such as heavy away defeats to Chelsea and our annoying neighbours, and having to watch Arouna Koné play. The future looks bright for the blues however, with a new stadium in the works, a big new shirt sponsor and a huge war chest to use in the summer.

Before that though, we’ve got a meaningless game against Arsenal to get through, and considering the coveted 4th spot is on the line for them, they’ll be hoping we’re on the beach. Which we are. Great.

Let’s get on to the team…

matchday.
