Everton’s contingent may be relatively small compared to some Premier League clubs, but all four players could have important roles to play for their countries over the coming weeks.

Pickford will be central to England’s hopes of a deep run, while Gueye and Ndiaye are expected to be key figures for Senegal. Patterson and Scotland have already made a positive start and will now look to build on their opening victory over Haiti.
