Wayne Rooney has been ruled out of Everton’s final game of the season against West Ham.
The knee injury that kept him out of the Southampton game last weekend is going to stop him featuring in the game with the Hammers on Sunday afternoon.

The 32-year-old could be set to leave Goodison Park this summer after a £12 million offer came in from DC United, so he could have already played his final game for the club.
Rooney trained today before the rest of the squa,d which led to more speculation about the proposed move, but it turns out that he was receiving treatment on his knee.

England’s all-time top scorer returned to the Toffees last summer on a free transfer from Manchester United. He has had a decent season with a scoring return of 10 goals in 31 appearances, including a memorable hat-trick against West Ham in November.
If Rooney has already played his final game in the Premier League, he will leave as the second highest scorer in its history with 208 goals to his name, behind only the legendary Alan Shearer.
