Everton have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Watford manager Marco Silva.
According to Sky Sports, the Hornets will not entertain any offers for their impressive boss, who Everton have been courting in the last week.

Silva has started the season in fine form with Watford, helping them to play attractive football and start the campaign in positive fashion.

Everton remain without a permanent manager, despite having sacked Ronald Koeman near the end of October. David Unsworth has been at the helm since in a caretaker role while the Toffees’ hierarchy ponder their options.
The Toffees sit in 16th place in the Premier League table following their 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace on Saturday and will know that they simply must step up as the ever-busy festive period begins.
Everton reportedly had a bid worth £10 million rejected by Watford for Silva and it’s not looking like the Hornets will budge.
