The report claims that any deal for the 71-cap ace shows promise of ‘reaching the finish line’ ahead of the transfer window.
So far this season Ramsey – hailed as ‘world-class’ by Joe Allen – has made just five fleeting appearances for the Old Lady.
Meanwhile, the Welshman isn’t the only midfield target on the radar at Goodison Park as Rafa Benitez also eyes a move for Borussia Monchengladbach ace Denis Zakaria according to 90min.

Still valued at £9million and under contract in Italy until 2023 (Transfermarkt), any deal for Ramsey would likely still come at a cost to Everton.
At the right price and likely high wages notwithstanding, signing a player of the quality and calibre of the ex-Arsenal man would remain a viable option.
Boasting 473 club appearances and a bulging trophy cabinet, adding Ramsey to a midfield containing Allan, Andre Gomes and Abdoulaye Doucoure would be a shrewd capture.
