Everton caretaker boss David Unsworth has assured that defensive midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin and winger Kevin Mirallas are both committed to the club, after the pair were left out of the squad to face Watford before the international break.
French international Schneiderlin and Belgian international Mirallas were dropped from the squad after a so-called training ground incident, but Unsworth has played it down and insisted there is nothing to worry about (via the Daily Mail):
There’s a lot that’s been written that was wrong, that was false.
It was something and nothing. Both were given an option of finishing their training and that was absolutely fine.
Schneiderlin took to social media to address the issue:

Mirallas, meanwhile said he was ‘not excluded of the squad due to a lack of commitment during training’

Unsworth has backed both of his players on the matter:
I’ve seen both players’ comments, which I fully support.
Both players will be available for selection. As far as I’m concerned, there is no story there.
Everton’s next game is a trip to Selhurst Park to face bottom of the table Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon, with kick-off at 3 o’ clock. Both Schneiderlin and Mirallas will be hoping to win their places back.
