Cenk Tosun stills believes he can be a success at Everton, despite his severe lack of game time at Goodison Park.
The Turkey international has been restricted to just two substitute appearances for the club this season, coming on against Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup and against Sheffield United in the Premier League.
With Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Moise Kean and Richarlison ahead of him in the pecking order, the 28-year old has been heavily tipped to leave Merseyside in January, either on loan or on a permanent switch.

According to Bleacher Report’s Dean Jones on Twitter, Tosun’s representatives are currently sounding out potential clubs that the forward could join on loan in January, with the Italian Serie A an appealing market.
However, Jones also reports that Tosun still believes he can have a future with Everton, and that he wants to leave in order to rebuild his confidence and profile so he can come back a stronger player for the Toffees.

You have to admire Tosun’s determination to succeed on Merseyside, even if his faith does appear misplaced.
It is hard to imagine Tosun breaking through into Silva’s plans at this point, and unless Silva is sacked and replaced with someone who will give him a fresh slate, his path appears to be blocked.
Hopefully he can succeed during a loan spell though. At the very least, he could be someone Everton can sell on next summer, and the better his form the better his price. I’d love to see him fight and earn his place back, but I just don’t see it.
