Everton striker Cenk Tosun has revealed that he is enjoying a good relationship with manager Sam Allardyce.
Tosun joined the club from Besiktas in January and has admitted that he is getting on “really well” with the Toffees boss so far.
The Turkish forward has been nominated for the Premier League player of the month award for March, having scored four goals in his last four matches for the club.
Speaking to Turkish Football, Tosun said this:
I get on really well with Big Sam.
He’s been in contact with me for a long time and wanted me when he was at Crystal Palace. He made it clear there would be a place for me at Everton.
Sam played an important role in the transfer. He was always open with me, he doesn’t mince his words, he says what is on his mind.

Allardyce has come under fire from certain sections of the Everton support and his job going into next season is reportedly under consideration.
Tosun, however, is clearly backing the former England manager, and is thriving under his tutelage in the Premier League.
Everton face Liverpool in the derby this weekend and Tosun will be looking to add to his recent form with another goal.
