Everton keeper Tim Howard is set to return to the MLS with the Colorado Rapids, according to ESPN.
The American has been the subject of interest from the states with his poor form this season seeing Spaniard Joel Robles take the number one spot in the team. It had been reported this week that the player could price himself out of a move after he requested wages of 67k per week.

The article states that ‘Sources confirmed that Rapids general manager Tim Hinchey flew to England last week to finalize the deal with Howard and Everton.’ As well as going on to say the player will complete the season at Everton before moving back to the MLS in the summer.
Howard racked up 88 appearances with MetroStars in the MLS before moving to Manchester United in 2003 and moving to the Blues initially on loan in 2006 before joining permanently in 2007.
Since then the American has been a regular in the Everton side but with a less than impressive two years his time on Merseyside has been tainted and it looks that his lengthy time in the Premier League has come to an end. Tim has made a total of 327 appearances for Everton with one goal to his name that came against Bolton from his own six-yard box.
