Everton are facing a real issue at the moment with injuries.
The Toffees currently have nine players sidelined through injury with less than half returning this month.
Monday night saw Carlo Ancelotti’s side run out a 0-0 draw against Brighton and Hove Albion, with main man Dominic Calvert-Lewin sidelined.
One player that could have more than helped out the Blues in front of goal is former striker Tim Cahill.
The Australian posted a photo to his Instagram yesterday of him in action for the club back in the day, captioning the photo “First stop back of the net”…

Cahill was a fantastic player for the Toffees back in the day and ended his time at the club as third top scorer in the Premier League.
The Aussie always managed to show up in big games and relished the larger occasions with a big goal.
Cahill was also a menace in the air considering his height and stature which he was renowned for and it is great to see former players remember their days at Goodison with fond memories.
With Calvert-Lewin on the sidelines, the likes of Cahill would have been hugely beneficial in recent games.
However, the run of game going into the end of this season will need a huge response from the squad.
With European football on the line and table rivals Tottenham Hotspur up next, three points has never been so important.
