Everton have reportedly had an £8m bid rejected by Sunderland for young ‘keeper Jordan Pickford.
Pickford was very much a silver lining for the diabolical Sunderland side that finished rock-bottom in the Premier League this season, and understandably has become a rather wanted man.

It’s no doubt that Everton have needed a first-choice keeper for a while now, with current options Joel Robles and Maarten Stekelenburg not quite up to the standard that they need to progress.
Pickford has impressed in recent times, showing that he’s comfortable with the ball at his feet and has become a well-renowned shot-stopper. However, according to the Mirror, the Championship side have stated that they will not let the 23-year-old leave for any less than £30m with Everton claiming they will not pay more than £15m for the youngster.
Pickford ranked second in the Premier League for amount of saves made with a total of 135, helped admittedly by the poor defence in front of him.
