Everton undoubtedly have one of the best strikers in the Premier League at the moment in Romelu Lukaku.
However aside from the prolific Belgian international, they have very little attacking quality in terms of strikers, and this may be something that Toffees boss Ronald Koeman will be hoping to bolster when the summer transfer window comes around.
Whilst there is perennial interest in Everton’s prized asset Lukaku, it’s looking fairly clear that they won’t be letting go of their star man in the near future and instead of looking to replace him, they’ll strive to build the team around him and add alternative forwards.
Lukaku has notched 19 of Everton’s 47 league goals this season and whilst the honours have been shared relatively well, another striker or two would definitely take the pressure off the 23-year-old.
