Oumar Niasse has attracted interest from four clubs, according to Sky Sports.
January signing flop, Oumar Niasse, wasn’t given a number in Ronald Koeman’s squad number list yesterday, confirming a move away is on the cards.
Niasse joins Conor McAleny, Leandro Rodriguez, Aiden McGeady and Luke Garbutt who also weren’t given a squad number.
Turkish sides Besiktas and Fenerbahce are interested in the 26-year-old, whilst Portugal’s Sporting Lisbon and German side Hamburg also remain interested.
The Senegalese international has also been strongly linked with a loan move to Galatasaray, however, a move now seems to have broken down.
Former boss, Roberto Martinez, signed Niasse in January for £13.5million – making him the club’s third-highest ever transfer fee, behind just Marouane Fellaini and Romelu Lukaku. However, seven games and zero goals later, Niasse finds himself surplus to requirements.
Any move away is likely to be a loan deal with an option to buy, with Koeman keen to offload in order to freshen up his squad, with the season beginning in just over a weeks time.
