Stoke City are hopeful of completing the signing of Ashley Williams on a season-long loan before the start of the Championship.
According to Telegraph journalist John Percy, Williams looks set for a switch to Stoke.

Stoke have been in talks with Everton this week over a deal for the Welsh international, as they look to strengthen their side ahead of next season.
Williams has fallen out-of-favour at Everton, with the club looking to sign a replacement.
Yerry Mina from Barcelona has been heavily linked, although Everton are yet to agree a deal with the Spanish giants.
Stoke kick off their Championship campaign against Leeds on Sunday, and are hopeful of having Williams in their team.
Everton completed the signing of Lucas Digne from Barcelona on a five-year deal on Wednesday.
