Everton boss Marco Silva is hoping to have new signing Bernard available for selection this weekend, as his side prepare to face West Ham.
The Brazilian playmaker was one of Everton’s four deadline day signings, after arriving on a free transfer, and it’s reported by the Liverpool Echo that he could be set to line up for the Toffees this weekend.
The 26-year-old made a five-minute cameo against Bournemouth but missed the Huddersfield match through injury.

If Bernard can prove his fitness in the coming days, he may have a big part to play in Sunday’s encounter, with fellow countryman Richarlison still suspended and Theo Walcott struggling with a rib problem.
The Toffees’ addition attracted a lot of attention during his five-year stint at Shakhtar Donetsk, where he made 96 appearances, scoring 14 goals. He primarily played on the left side and was renowned for his pace and energy in games.
Supporters will be very excited to see their new man in action, with a place in the starting line-up this weekend potentially on the cards.
