Morgan Schneiderlin is edging closer to a £24million transfer to Everton, with Mourinho happy to let the player leave for Merseyside, according to the Telegraph.
Ronald Koeman has been targeting the French midfielder since he was deemed to be surplus to requirements at Manchester United, having worked with Morgan at Southampton.

The midfielder is yet to play a single game in the Premier League for the club this season, with Paul Pogba, Ander Herrera, Michael Carrick, Marouane Fellaini and even the exiled Bastian Schweinsteiger thought to be ahead of Schneiderlin in the pecking order.
For the deal to go ahead Everton must pay £24million which would cover the cost of what Manchester United paid for the player just last July when he swapped the South Coast for Manchester.
It is thought that the Toffees are willing to meet the players current wage which is thought to be £120,000 a week which would make him one of the highest earners at the club, showing just how determined Koeman is to land his man.
Everton have also been linked with Morgan’s United team-mate Memphis Depay, though it is thought the club would like the Dutchman to come in on loan to cover for the injured Yannick Bolasie. It is yet to be seen whether that deal will follow after the Merseysiders secure Schneiderlin’s signature.
