Former England manager Sam Allardyce has ruled himself out of becoming the next Everton manager.
Ronald Koeman was sacked last month by Everton and have yet found a replacement for the Dutchman.
The favourite for the job was Allardyce but he has ruled out the chance to manage The Toffees, who have David Unsworth in charge until they find a permanent replacement, but Allardyce will not be that man.
Everton have also missed out on Watford’s Marco Silva despite offering double of his current wages.

During an interview with talkSPORT, Allardyce said this:
It never materialised as I thought it would, unfortunately, for me such a long time without a decision, I had to make a decision myself.
The former Bolton, West Ham, England and Crystal Palace manager added with
The decision was it was probably better it wasn’t me, and I’d move on to something else. It would have been a fabulous job, but it just didn’t feel right. I think when you’re sat in my position you want people to be decisive and feel like they want you. I didn’t get that feeling overall. They were hesitating that I was the man.
