Rivaldo full of praise for Everton’s Richarlison

Former Barcelona and Brazil legend, Rivaldo feels that Everton forward Richarlison is going to be vital for his country in the coming years, as reported by the Official Everton website.

The 21-year-old joined the Premier League last season when he moved to Watford making a fine start to life in England which earned him a move to Everton and he has already netted three goals since the move to Goodison Park.

His early season form has earnt him a call-up to the national team side in Brazil and Rivaldo feels that the young forward will play a key role for the side moving forward.

He has played for Brazil at Under-20 level and is in the squad for the matches against the USA and El Salvador with a number of other new faces in the Brazilian squad following a poor World Cup in Russia.

The Brazil legend has spoken of his admiration of the Everton star ahead of his first call-up to the squad:

Richarlison is producing solid performances in the Premier League. He is clearly a good player, with great potential that could be really important for Brazil soon. Everton spent a good amount of money on his signing. Nowadays is hard to know if a player really deserves the money spent on him because the transfer values are really high. But I believe he will justify the investment at Everton. He is making things happen.
