Championship promotion hopefuls Stoke City are considering a move for Everton defender Ashley Williams.
The Guardian reports that Gary Rowett’s men are looking at the Welsh defender, who is expected to leave Goodison Park this summer.
Williams often struggled with injuries last season and looked off the pace in the Premier League.

The Welsh international is one of many first-team players that face being moved on this summer, with Marco Silva looking to put his own stamp on the squad and trim the club’s wage bill.
Stoke are looking to make an ascent on the Championship once the new campaign kicks off.
Rowett is keen to guide Stoke back to the top flight at the first time of asking and Williams would be able to provide valuable experience in the second tier.
They have already secured a deal for Benik Afobe and Peter Etebo, while they have also been linked with Newcastle’s Matt Ritchie.
