The ongoing 2016/17 Premier League season has been one of much drama, with plenty of teams in the mix for a relegation battle.
All four of Bournemouth, Leicester, Swansea, and Crystal Palace are in a state of bother, finding themselves just outside the bottom three. However, the trio of Middlesbrough, Hull, and Sunderland are all in serious trouble, and could be going down this season, with them all positioned in the relegation places.
Although it certainly is tight down at the bottom of the table, Everton and their fans alike will be relieved to know that whatever happens, it’ll be a fairly calm and enjoyable end to the season.
Ronald Koeman’s men have been enjoying an impressive campaign so far, finding themselves sat in seventh place of the table, just outside the top six, and in contention for a Europa League spot next season.
However, this isn’t to say that the Toffees have majorly better players than those at the foot of the table, as shown by the signing of Idrissa Gueye last summer.
