With the Englishman putting in another brilliant performance against Stoke City this afternoon, the winger made it three goals in as many games as he competes with Gerard Deulofeu for a starting role in the team.
Lennon put in a joint man of the match performance against Newcastle and added to his total for the season today at the Britannia against Stoke. The forward had only scored one goal before scoring three goals in three games and fortunately for the Englishman Roy Hodgson was in the stands as he scored his goal today, with a good performance may be pushing him towards the England setup should he continue his good form.

With three games in only a week period, it could be likely that Gerard Deulofeu may return to the side for the West Brom game next weekend but you can only feel that Lennon has done his bit to at least be considered to play week in week out.
With the signing of Oumar Niasse, it does pose the question whether Everton will be able to keep all their wide players happy, with Kevin Mirallas, Gerard Deulofeu, Aaron Lennon, Oumar Niasse and even Tom Cleverley who started on the left today all vying to stay in the team.

Aiden McGeady has already left the club on loan, Sheffield Wednesday taking the Irishman on loan until the end of the season as they look to give some of their fringe players minutes prior to Euro 2016 in France, whether that be at the club or away from it.
Regardless, Aaron Lennon has now given manager Roberto Martinez a welcome selection headache, with both the Englishman and Gerard Deulofeu fighting for that left-midfield spot.
