According to Football365, Oumar Niasse has thanked former Everton manager, Ronald Koeman, and feels sorry for the Dutchman after his sacking.
After dismal performances at the beginning of the season, Koeman was sacked last month but have yet found a replacement, with Marco Silva and Sam Allardyce both rejecting moves to the club, meaning David Unsworth is still in caretaker charge of The Toffees.

Koeman recalled Niasse to the first team squad after wanting him out of the club for a long time, but when recalled, Niasse impressed under Koeman before his sacking.
Niasse heaped praise on Koeman, he said
I feel sorry for him, what happened to him when the club got rid of him, honestly, they were ready to let me go. I was ready also to go because I knew that it would be a difficult season if I stayed here but at the end I didn’t go.
I said thank you to him because he could have said ‘no, you are staying with the U23s’ but when I came back he brought me back to the team. That has allowed me to be here today.
It was a hectic deadline day for Niasse, as he looked set to join Crystal Palace on loan but the move fell through, the striker said this about the situation
It was a difficult day, that night when I went there, to have everything about to sign,” he added. “Just one hour before the window closed I didn’t sign. They know why, I know why, I’m not going to go deep on that.
