Everton midfielder Leon Osman is being linked with a shock move to Scottish Championship side Hibernian by a report in The Scotsman.
According to the report, the 34-year-old could make the move north of the border to join Alan Stubbs’ side as a player/coach, a move that would make sense to give Osman his first taste of coaching as he comes to the end of his playing career.
Osman’s time at Goodison Park looks to be coming to an end. His only starts this season have come in the Capital One Cup and he has played a total of 28 minutes in the Premier League, coming off the bench on just two occasions.

The midfielder has played over 400 games for the Toffees, scoring 59 goals, and was rewarded for his service with a testimonial match in 2014.
Osman is still capable of playing at a higher level than the Scottish Championship, but the opportunity to gain coaching experience under his former teammate Stubbs could be a major selling point to the England international.
