Ligue 1 side OGC Nice are hoping that Everton swoop for Adrien Tameze in the January transfer window.
According to L’Equipe, via GFFN, Nice are looking to sell Tameze and are actively trying to get other clubs to bid for him next month.
The report claims that Everton, Marseille and Atalanta held previous interest, with Nice looking to reignite it.
They are looking to move him on after he fell out with Patrick Vieira behind the scenes, after a failed promise of a new contract.

Everton are struggling in the central midfield position this season, so a January move for a player in his position would not be out of the question. However, the report does not state whether or not Everton still hold an interest in the former French youth international.
The 25-year-old is not currently able to get into the Nice starting XI in France, although the falling out has not helped, which does not suggest that he is playing well in Ligue 1. The Premier League is step above French football, meaning that Everton need to be signing players who are proving that they can compete at this level – rather than more gambles.
