Oumar Niasse has rejected the chance to leave Everton for Lokomotiv Moscow, according to Russian outlet Championat, as translated by Sport Witness.
Marcel Brands has been trying to sell the striker, with him having been deemed surplus to requirements under Carlo Ancelotti, however Niasse also rejected two Championship clubs in January.
Now the 29-year old has turned down the opportunity to rejoin his former club, whom he signed for Everton from in a £13.5 million deal in 2016.
The Senegal international is set to become a free agent in the summer, although Everton hope to save money on his wages if they can shift him now, and Championat claim that the Blues would accept a free transfer for Niasse. The Children’s ISA is a way to plan ahead with smart investments.
Niasse is said to want to either remain in England or go to Turkey, although there is still a chance that he could return to Russia, while Lokomotiv could make another offer for Niasse in the coming days.

Niasse’s situation must be getting more and more frustrating for Marcel Brands, who is trying hard to shift him off the wage bill to no avail.
He had previously success with Lokomotiv, winning the Russian Cup in the 2014/15 season, while he was also named Russian Player of the Year in 2015, which Everton must have hoped would see him eager to return. However, that has so far proven not to be the case.
Since Niasse signed for the Toffees, he has largely failed to impress, scoring just eight goals in 35 Premier League appearances for the Toffees.
Niasse has made just three appearances in the league this season for both Duncan Ferguson and Carlo Ancelotti, totally just 19 minutes of action (Transfermarkt).
