Everton’s winter signing Oumar Niasse has confirmed that he thinks he will play some part in this weekend’s FA Cup Fifth Round game against Bournemouth AFC.
Speaking to Sky Sports at an Everton in the Community event this morning the Senegalese international spoke of how the family atmosphere around the club allowed players to settle in extremely quickly. He said:
A new country, a new team, it’s not difficult because the team is like a family. The staff, the training ground it’s all ideal to adapt. Just need a little bit more time to settle in but after then we start a new dream with Everton
When asked about a possible weekend he explained that he think’s he will be involved in some way or another against Bournemouth. He explained:
I think this week I will be involved, I don’t know how exactly but I think I’m going to be involved. I just need that start to know exactly where I am at (fitness wise). You need to be playing to know exactly what level you are at.
Niasse signed for Everton in a £13.5million deal on deadline day becoming Everton’s only deadline day signing as Aiden McGeady and Conor McAleny both left the club on loan.

At Lokomotiv Moscow, the forward scored 10 goals and assisted 13 in 23 appearances, showing a very good return for a striker who can also play in the wide areas.
As well as Niasse, Everton are expected to rotate their squad as they face Bournemouth with players such as John Stones, Gerard Deulofeu and Kevin Mirallas having to sit on the bench in recent weekends expected to have some part in the game.
