Everton shareholder Farhad Moshiri has given his backing to under-fire boss Ronaldo Koeman after his Toffees side slipped to a 1-0 loss against Burnley at the weekend.
Everton are 16th in the league with just seven points from seven games and are yet to win a game in their Europa League group — but Moshiri insists that Koeman’s job is not in danger:

Pointing the finger at Thursday night Europa League games as well as injuries within the squad, Moshiri feels that the Toffees poor run is more unfortunate than being down to poor management, Ronald Koeman will be relieved to hear.
Koeman joined Everton from Southampton in 2016 and has so far recorded a win percentage of 43.64% with the Toffees, winning 24, drawing 13 and losing 18 of his 55 games in charge at Goodison Park.
The Dutchman is widely regarded as one of the greatest centre-backs of all time, but has a way to go to be held in the same regard as a manager, although he has won seven trophies in his time as a manager, during his spells with Ajax, Benfica, PSV Eindhoven, Valencia and AZ Alkmaar.
