Everton have been given a major boost with the news that Yerry Mina’s injury is not as bad as first feared.
The Liverpool Echo have clarified rumours about a metatarsal injury, with reports claiming that Colombian would be sidelined for an extra three weeks.
L’Equipe claimed that the player would be sidelined with a broken metatarsal, with the player still waiting to make his Everton debut.

However, the Echo reports that the player will miss this weekend’s clash against newly-promoted Fulham, but the injury is being treated as ‘minor’.
According to the report, the club are refusing to put a time frame on his return but they hint it will not be the three weeks that is being reported elsewhere.
It had been suggested that the player was not far away from his debut for the club after arriving for big money in the summer, but they are now being forced to wait that little bit longer.
