Everton qualified for the semi-finals of the Capital One Cup as goals from Gerard Deulofeu and Romelu Lukaku gave the Blues a 2-0 win over Middlesbrough.
Deulofeu was spellbinding at times, his goal was a combination of supreme footwork and finishing, and it was his trickery down the right flank which set up Lukaku for his 13th goal of the season.
Middlesbrough never really looked like scoring, but Joel Robles did have to make a few smart saves.
