Roberto Martinez WILL be sacked before Sunday’s game against Norwich, according to reports.
News has been rife this morning that the Catalonian is on the brink of being sacked, further fueled by the manager not showing up at Finch Farm this morning. It is now a case of when rather than if, with the club looking to agree a compensation deal before announcing the news.
Potential successors include Frank De Boer, Manuel Pellegrini, Mark Hughes and Ronald Koeman. De Boer left Ajax hours after Everton’s 3-0 defeat to Sunderland on Wednesday evening and is the bookmakers clear favourites to succeed Roberto Martinez. The Dutch manager has also expressed his desire to take over at Everton, explaining that he would ‘love’ to manage a club like the Blues.

After a disappointing season under Roberto Martinez, the club can only finish as high as 11th but should they remain in 12th position, it would be the club’s worst placing since 2004.
With only four points since March, it will be music to Evertonian ears when the club finally announce the sacking of Roberto Martinez.
