Sunday night saw Everton lose 1-0 to an already relegated Sheffield United.
The Toffees are fighting for a spot for European football for next season, with them currently three points away.
A wing at the weekend would have provided a huge result in their fight with some tough games remaining.
With two more games against Wolves and Manchester City, the Toffees will have to do all they can to win them.
However, they may not have the personnel to do so if Martin Keown’s thoughts are correct.
The pundit was commentating for BT Sport during the 1-0 loss on Sunday, and he had some choice words about Blues attacker James Rodriguez.
The Colombian made a few moves during the game that went wayward thanks to his fellow teammates.
Keown was quick to spot this and offer his thoughts on the situation.
His fellow commentator Darren Fletcher remarked on James attempted attack…
“It’s an interesting idea from James to try and get Richardson running blindside of the Sheffield United defence though it didn’t quite work out in the end, but it was a nice idea.”

To which Keown responded, stating “It was wasn’t it, his vision is exceptional, I just don’t know if the front players are attuned into that all of the time.”
It is fair to say that his current attacking teammates aren’t quite on the same level as some of his former.
Rodriguez has played alongside some of the most talented attackers in the world.
During his time at Real Madrid he partnered the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, and Gareth Bale.
As well as that he has also had Robert Lewandowski as a target man at Bayern.
Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are talented players with great careers ahead of them, but nowhere near that of the previous.
In time, the pair will no doubt grow and have fantastic careers for the Toffees, but right now Keown is right.
Rodriguez is playing on another level and it is evident at times during games.
