Everton majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri has made Watford manager Marco Silva his number one target.
According to The Mirror, The club are on the lookout for a new manager after Ronald Koeman was sacked last week, with Silva top of Moshiri’s wishlist.
The report claims that Chairman Bill Kenwright, however, wants current caretaker manager David Unsworth to be given a chance to prove himself.
Moshiri disagrees and is looking to appoint a new first-team manager with a bigger reputation.

Thomas Tuchel and Carlo Ancelotti are also said to be on his list of targets, both of whom are currently out of a job.
Tuchel left Borussia Dortmund earlier this year and Ancelotti was sacked by Bayern Munich at the start of the month.
Marco Silva is doing a superb job at Watford so far this season. The Hornets are currently sixth in the Premier League and have won four of their ten games this season.
Everton sacked Koeman with the club sitting in the relegation zone.
