Manchester United 1-0 Everton: Player Ratings

Another limp, lifeless and lacklustre performance from Everton handed Manchester United a 1-0 victory in a dour affair at Old Trafford.

Anthony Martial gave the Red Devils the win with a close-range finish, but the Blues were simply awful and didn’t deserve anything from the game.

Phil Jagielka went close on a couple occasions and Romelu Lukaku had a couple of half-chances, but it was another tepid display from Everton.

John Stones and Gerard Deulofeu were back in the starting line-up and were the only ones who performed well, the rest seem to already be on holiday.

The loss was Everton’s 10th league defeat of the season and the third in a row. It’s really tough to watch the Blues at the moment.

The players looked devoid of fight and any sort of idea, with eight games to go, Everton are level on points with Bournemouth. Something has to give, and soon.
