According to a report from the Daily Star today, French side LOSC Lille are plotting a January move for Everton forward David Henen.
The 20-year-old joined The Toffees with high expectations and a lot of potential but since his move from Olympiacos, he’s failed to make any sort of impact on the club and English football.
The Liverpool Echo report that Everton have no interest in cashing in on the Belgian, but that has not deterred Lille from their pursuit of the forward.
Signed for £200,000 in 2015, Henen was tipped for big things but has only really featured at youth level for Everton.

The report states that Henen has rejected a new deal with Everton (though the Liverpool Echo claim this is not true) that would take him up to 2021 at the club, with them still recognising some potential in him, in order to force a move away.
Henen has just two years remaining on his current contract at Goodison Park and Lille have clearly sensed an opportunity to make their move for the forward.
